High Tides in Venice

Last night we checked into a really nice boutique hotel after taking a boat from the car park to the station. This morning we woke to the shocking surprise that all of Venice was flooded. An unexpected high tide caused the banks to overflow. The Hotel gave us boots so we were able to walk around without problems. I've posted some photos below.
