I am writing this from a small B&B tucked away in the Austrian Alps overlooking the city of Innsbruck. We are both well and about to embark on a long drive through the winding Alpian roads towards Venice.
We had a minor mishap on our first night in zurich so we decided to stay an extra night.
We are planning two days in Venice before heading for Milan.
Go to "Osteria ai Quattro Feri" for a fantastic fish supper when you get to Venice. My fave was the grilled squid :)

I didn't have a bad meal in Venice, but if you don't want to get an allergic reaction to egg white and have your lips swell up like you've had collagen injections (don't ask!) avoid Harry's Bar (oh and if you don't fancy dropping £100 for a couple of bowls of pasta).
